Deux prototypes furent construits. L&rsquo;une de ses particularit\u00e9\nde l&rsquo;appareil concerne la position de ses&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Turbor%C3%A9acteur\">turbor\u00e9acteurs<\/a>&nbsp;double flux&nbsp;: ceux-ci\nsont en effet plac\u00e9s de telle fa\u00e7on que les gaz sortant du r\u00e9acteur soufflent\nl&rsquo;extrados de l&rsquo;aile (<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Effet_Coand%C4%83\">effet Coand\u0103<\/a>).\nCette disposition particuli\u00e8re, visiblement inspir\u00e9e de l&rsquo;appareil exp\u00e9rimental\nam\u00e9ricain&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boeing_YC-14\">Boeing YC-14<\/a>, lui\nconf\u00e8re ainsi des capacit\u00e9s de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avion_%C3%A0_d%C3%A9collage_et_atterrissage_court\">d\u00e9collage\net d&rsquo;atterrissage courts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;An-72\n\u00e9tant un avion cargo, il poss\u00e8de une rampe de chargement \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re du\nfuselage.
